The Snows fell heavily this week-end. Saturday saw some good entries for the BSPS Winter Qualifiers, “A resounding success” said Secretary Christina Wood. ”The cold never seems to calm the enthusiasm of our members”. Overnight the snows came, nearly an inch. The countryside was coated with white powder, but still the in-hand sections were well supported. The eventual supreme of show going to…..

Hyperion wins at the BSPS 2A Winter Show. A surprisingly warm sunny day, saw this Heritage M&M a double Champion today. Ridden by Emma Boardman, the Welsh Section B took the Novice as well as the Restricted Heritage honours. There were double Working Hunter Pony wins for Pebbly Limited Edition, and the Mini Show Pony Champion went to Senateview Angelica. Stephanie Basnett and Cairns Victor landed the Heritage Working Hunter Pony Class. Brandy Snap ridden by Joanne Shaw, caused a stir by being placed third in his Heritage Flat Class, but then going on to take the honours in the Heritage Restricted Working Hunter Competition the next day. NPS Area 5 Winter Show hosted at Myerscough. This popular show, was once again held at Myerscough. The Welsh Classes, as always, were very well attended.,
